This happened to a friend of mine. Under the code of federal regulations there is a list of things that must occur before your status can be changed from inpatient to outpatient at a hospital. one of those things is your doctor would have to concurred with the change and it must be documented that he accepted the decision. Check to see who was it. A casemanager or a U.R. staff member. They cannot change anything. They are not licensed to practice medicine.

Report them to the OIG. Did anyone notify you that this would occur. This is fraud. Part of the federal regulations states that the patient must participate in his care and to do this would place you in financial liability.Plus pull your record, it was probably some person who was not licensed to practice medicine who did this. It should be documented in your chart.

Hi

My name is Amy Parker. I've just visited your website and I was wondering if you'd be interested in exchanging links with my website. I can offer you a HOME PAGE link back from my Health Medical website which is http://www.der-starhopper.com

As mentioned, your link would be placed on the site HOME PAGE, not on any "links" pages which may be buried in the site somewhere. I'm sure this exchange would be benefitial for both of our sites, helping towards increasing our visibility in search engines.

If you are interested, please add the following information to your website and kindly let me know when it's ready. I'll do the same for you in less than 24 hours, otherwise you can delete my link from your site.

Title: Asbestos solicitor
URL: http://www.asbestosvictimadvice.com

I hope you have a nice day and thank you for your time.

Best regards;

I was a patient at Baylor Dallas for a surgical procedure certified by my provider as inpatient and was admitted and discharged in 2.5 days. I learned after my discharge that the hospital changed my code to outpatient. I owed a 100 dollar co-pay with inpatient and 3000 dollars outpatient. How do I get the hospital to change the coding?

It looks like Ms. Byrne is off to a good start but a wonder if her billing by the hour isn't going to come back to haunt her? One of our biggest selling
points is that we do not get paid until AFTER the doctor does. It think it would be tough to convince our doctors that we are losing sleep at night worrying about their unpaid claims when we have already been paid in full.

With the advances in web based medical billing software, why just hire "home based" medical billing specialists and keep the jobs in the USA?
As an owner of a medical billing company, I know
most of our doctors would be upset if we outsourced our billing overseas.
